Wind & Weather Pet Memorial Lawn Plaque

Losing a beloved pet that has been a large part of your life can be a difficult time in your life. My mother recently lost her beloved Sugar Bear and I wanted to find a way to help her memorialize their love and life together in a way that would make my mom smile every time she saw it.

To my surprise, Wind & Weather has a decent selection of lawn plaques for your pets. With a little help from my sister we found the Cast-Aluminum Pet Memorial Angel Lawn Plaque In Weather-Resistant Powder-Coated Finish. The ordering process was simple and quick and the hardest part of all was waiting for it to arrive (2 to 3 weeks for the personalization).

Here is our final product (still wrapped in plastic). It is a decent size, 11-3/4″W x 12-1/2″H, solid and will last as long as my mom cares to have it in her garden.

I was very pleased with the lawn plaque and decided to do a little more surfing through their site for future purchases.     I like the Cast-Aluminum Pet Memorial Angel Lawn Plaque that you posted but I think the price tag of $69.95 is pretty high even though it is personalized. When my parents very loved pekingese died unexpectedly, I was the one who had taken her to the vet so I arranged her cremation and the ashes returned, I knew my parents would be heart broken over their loss. While waiting on the cremains, I ordered a personalized slate with Suzie’s picture, dates, and the ‘pet’ names my parents called her on it. That was just abut $30, took about 2 weeks to receive and much more personal. The only downside I thought is it had to lay flat on the ground, I would have liked something that would have been on stakes like the one posted here.
