Summer Learning Gift Pack from Carson-Dellosa
Did you know that kids could lose up to 2.5 months of learning throughout the summer? This can make for a rough start to the school year for kids, parents and teachers but it is fully preventable with just a little learning each day.
According to a study by Johns Hopkins University, by ninth grade, the lack of summer learning can be blamed for roughly two-thirds of the achievement gap.
Carson-Dellosa is here to help! Just a few minutes a day can help your child retain all that hard earned knowledge and give them a great stepping stone for the next school year!

How do I plan to help my child learn during the summer? There is so much we do I couldn’t possibly explain it all! My daughter has struggled with her development, and although she is doing amazingly well for her condition she is still a ways behind so we work hard to learn new things every single day. We are all very excited that it is finally summer time, she will turn 2 in a couple weeks and absolutely loves being outside! We go for a relaxing walk every day for some downtime and play classic music to help her brain learn new pathways. We get in the pool to stay cool as well as do a little water therapy and get her muscles to relax. We also try to blow lots of bubbles outside to help with our speech and oral skills. And of course we walk, run, and climb all over the place to really get a good work out with her legs.
