Spring Styles At The Children’s Place

Recently I had the kids put on a fashion show for me. Not a fashion show of new clothing, but their clothes from last spring and summer. They love to do this every season and we decide what to keep and what’s too small. Our fashion show this season created a nice big “garage sale” pile and a much smaller keep pile.

Our first stop for new clothes was The Children’s Place. I love that they have the latest styles for the kids, but always at prices that don’t break the bank. This year, our top choices from the Spring Look Book were these!

Aren’t they adorable?! Oh my heavens! I squealed when I opened the package!

Emma is sporting a cute adjustable waist 5 pocket denim skirt that can be purchased for $12.71 right now (RV $16.95) and a beyond adorable floral voile top RV $16.95 (I couldn’t find the exact top online, but I found a dress with a very similar print on sale or $11.99) .

Ethan has on a graphic tee (on sale for $6 right now) and a pair of adjustable waist denim carpenter shorts ($17.95)

I tend to gravitate towards classic designs for the basic pieces in their wardrobes. I love the delicate floral pattern on Emma’s shirt, the elasticized pleated area across the front of the top, the puffy sleeves and how it flows when she walks. Her skirt is very traditional and with the adjustable waist she will be able to wear this for quite some time. I foresee it being worn a lot in kindergarten this fall!

Ethan’s shirt made me giggle when I pulled it out of the box. It wasn’t the shirt I requested, but it actually fit his personality more than the one I chose. I love The Children’s Place graphic tees… there are always a few I have to have and some that just make me laugh out loud. His jean shorts are a nice thick quality that will last through many washings throughout the summer. With the adjustable waist I purposely requested them a little big. He is shooting upwards faster than he is growing outwards, so his jean will fit fine in the waist but be too short. We like longer shorts on our boys and now we can have them without him sagging and bagging.

The Children’s Place typically has a wide range to choose from… from the classic design that I chose, to the ultra trendy. No more store hopping when you have children with different tastes… you can pretty much find everything you need at this one store!
