Sealy Posturepedic Excell Down & Feather Pillow–Firm Review [CLOSED Giveaway]

Sleep is one of the most important, helpful things you can do for yourself. Unfortunately a bad pillow doesn’t help you reach or stay in dreamland for very long.

Sealy sent us a set of Posturepedic Excell Down and Feather pillows to try. I was a bit hesitant because we were actually replacing some sad looking down pillows that were ultra fluffy and these pillows were firm, but I figured what the heck.

After some reading I found that the Sealy Posturepedic pillows offer:

When the pillows came I was surprised how plush they seemed, even though they were labeled firm. With the 4 chamber system offering lasting loft, gentle contouring, and minimal internal shifting and the outer 2”(called the Even Edge® Side panel) offering additional neck support, I knew this had to be an all-in-one solution. These particular pillows are also hypoallergenic, perfect if you have asthma or other allergies. I always worry about cleanliness of my pillows… bed bugs creap me out. These are super simple to maintain with a normal machine wash and dry. Their 10 year limited warranty takes the sting out of the $99 price tag. If a pillow is backed for that long, I’m willing to pay a bit more for it.

Did you know four out of five sleepers are in need of a new pillow? With the softer center that cradles your head and the firmer outer edges to support your neck you should wake up feeling refreshed and ready to take on the day. My experience seems to be the norm with this particular pillow. It took me several nights to adjust to the added firmness, but I was waking feeling like I had a great nights rest and my neck pain was gone. My head felt cradled but supported and I love how the pillow “bounces back” and is fluffy and ready when you get in bed at night. One of my memory foam pillows on my bed feels like a rock next to the Posturepedic. Would you sleep on a rock when you have a lofty pillow as a choice? I’m not… anymore.
