Seagate Backup Plus 1 TB External Hard Drive
My husband has reminding me on a frequent basis that I need to backup my laptop pictures to discs. My laptop has been acting up recently and running slow. We are fairly sure it’s due to the large amount of pictures I have saved on it and he wants to re-format it and wipe it clean so I can start from scratch again. I have been putting the transfer off because I’m scared to rely on discs to hold all our family’s memories… what if they get scratched or damaged?
The opportunity to be able to review the Seagate External Hard Drive for Mac was a life saver for me. Both my husband and I were very excited the day the hard drive arrived because we couldn’t wait to finally re-format my laptop!
Our initial impression when we opened the hard drive was that the instructions were a little vague. Honestly we were a little worried but we soon realized there wasn’t much to do other then plug it into the computer and transferred the files automatically.
We did an entire backup of my laptop with a total transfer of over 75G that took about 3hrs. The hard drive comes with a USB 2.0 cable, which we used for our transfer. If you would prefer a slightly faster transfer the hard drive is also compatible with a USB 3.0 and fire wire.

In 2008, Seagate became the first hard drive manufacturer to ship 1 billion drives.
It’s not wonder…they have GREAT products! : )
I say the more memory the better. So all places you can store things on the puter go for it. Backup is a great thing.
