What begins as a relaxing spa getaway for Scooby-Doo, Shaggy, Fred, Velma and Daphne, somehow takes a very strange turn when the gang uncovers a frightening Phantosaur, a ghostly dinosaur that’s come to life to protect hidden treasures buried in secret desert caves. The Phantosaur appears to be on a mission tokeep a group of paleontologists from digging for fossils. The gang sets out to investigate the prehistoric haunting and in the process, uncover all sorts of colorful suspects including a free-wheeling motorcycle gang, greedy corporate investors and over-zealous scientists. Will it be prehistoric panic or will our teenage sleuths put all the pieces together and solve this strange mystery?

Nick meets with the museum’s experts to get the real story on the amazing dinosaurs they have on display. Beware, there may be a Phantosaur lurking about! I remember watching Scooby Doo when I was a little girl. It’s hard to believe Scooby and the gang haven’t solved every mystery out there… but they are still finding new ones to dig up! 
The Scooby Doo lover in our lives received this DVD and I’m sure has watched it several times over. She loves to “play” Scooby Doo and solve mysteries as Daphne, oftentimes making Emma Velma. I love how movies like this can spark imagination and creativity in children as well as how it makes them think.. improving their problem solving skills. Besides that, Scooby is just fun to watch!
