Microsoft Wireless Mobile 3500 Mouse
Taking your laptop on the go can prove to be a cumbersome activity. I’m sure I am not alone in the fact that I detest the trackpad on my laptop and prefer to use a wireless mouse. I am much more efficient and get less frustrated doing so. The key to portability is size and the Microsoft Wireless Mobile 3500 Mouse is just right.
You’ll appreciate how this wireless mobile mouse comfortably fits your hand and your mobile lifestyle. Use it just about anywhere, even on a rough park bench or your living room carpet, relying on Microsoft BlueTrack Technology. 1 When it’s time to pack up and go, you’ll hardly notice the tiny transceiver. Keep it plugged into the USB port, or stow it in the bottom of the mouse for travel. Keep using your mouse for up to eight months with a single battery, and rely on the power indicator to tell you when it’s time to replace it.
The first thing I noticed about this mouse was it’s size. It has all of the features of a full sized mouse, but in a compact design geared for laptop users. With a projected 8 month battery life it is a reliable partner to bring along on the road.
The Mobile 3500 is a simple to use plug and play accessory. It’s a little hard to see unless you’re looking for it, but in the middle of the photo above you will see the small nano transceiver that plugs into your usb drive. This allows for wireless connectivity. You can leave this plugged in the laptop or store it in the base of the mouse during travel, which is genius. My laptop sleeve is just big enough for the computer so the transceiver snags when I put it in. My old mouse did not have a place to store it so I would have to put it in a safe place (like a ziploc in my purse) for travel.
One of the best features of the Mobile 3500 is BlueTrack Technology. They’ve combined the power of optical with the precision of laser for remarkable tracking on virtually any surface. I’m talking your jeans while you’re sitting down, the couch, a pillow, carpet or even a park bench… just about anything.
We’ve paired the Wireless 3500 with our netbook for use with the children. Ethan loves that it fits in his little 4 year old hand perfectly and responds easily to his movements. I’m not ashamed to admit that I occasionally snag this mouse when I am leaving the house with my full sized laptop because of it’s portability.
