The Laser Pegs are a unique invention that combines lights and construction. The set we received to review is a 6-in-1 set meaning there are 6 different creations to make with just the 20 pegs that came with it. Of course, Micah can make anything he wants with those 20 pieces as well as adding any other Lego-type blocks.

This toy is a lot of fun, and Micah has enjoyed playing with it. He has already asked for more construction parts, so that’s always a good sign. 🙂 It is recommended for ages 5 and up and I would mostly agree. Our 5-year-old can handle constructing most things, but doesn’t always completely understand all the instructions. She does well making up her own creations.

I learned that they suggest you buy an AC/DC power adapter, which is sold on the Accessory Kit web page. This will limit the use of batteries and keep your creations super bright drawing very little electricity
