Even at an early age, little girls seem to love fashion.  They play dress up, they paint their nails, they do their hair and they have fun with their clothes.  And now they can even paint their shoes.  Introducing Bobbi-Toads, a new line of shoes for girls with “toes” that can be painted with nail polish.

The Bobbi-Toads line of shoes for girls includes six different styles, featuring a variety of colors and designs available in both Velcro and lace-up closures.

Using non-toxic nail polish, girls are able to paint the shoes just as they would their own toes.  When they’ve changed their outfit or their mood, simply use nail polish remover to clean the shoes and apply a different color.

My youngest, Mikenah, loves to paint her nails & she was super excited to paint her new Bobbi-Toads.  Literally from the moment she saw them she wanted to get them painted so she could wear them to school.  She chose to paint them “rainbow” so that they would match everything.  While putting on the paint, it went fairly well.  At first I wasn’t sure I could do it without making a huge mess, but it got easier the more I did and I think they turned out pretty good!

Bobbi-Toads sells their own Bobbi-polish and remover and I think it would be nice if a bottle of nail polish came with the shoes. Most people have their own so it’s not a huge problem.  I used what we had at home, and it turned out just fine.

Mikenah loves her Bobbi-Toads and I recommend them for any little girl.  These would make a great gift.

    We recommend you use non-toxic nail polish along with non-toxic remover. If you choose to use another type of polish, we suggest you use a clear base coat to reduce the possibility of discoloration.
