Shiver me timbers!  Bob the Builder and his Top Team have moved to Fixham Harbor for a swashbuckling new adventure.  Spud and Scrambler learn about the legend of Pirate Brickbeard’s Golden Hammer, a treasure that he has hidden in their new town. The team must follow the clues to find its location. Can they find it? Yes they can!  All hands on deck for a treasure trove of mystery and fun!

The all-new CG animated Bob the Builder: The Golden Hammer – The Movie is available on DVD, Digital Download and On Demand December 28, 2010 from Lionsgate and HIT Entertainment.

We’ve been watching Bob the Builder since Josh was tiny (he’s 13 now). This is a cute little story about a treasure hunt that Spud and Scrambler embark on to find a pirate’s hidden Golden Hammer treasure. They are intent on finding it so they can give it to Bob. They have to follow clues and decide where the map is sending them (it just happens to be where their next job is!). Instead of a short 30 minutes story we follow them for a full 60 minutes. Emma & Ethan both have requested to watch this DVD time and again. They seem to like the longer length and the story line and now that they’ve seen it a couple of times they like to “tell” Spud and Scrambler what the clue means.
