Oh my, what a crazy week! It’s now 11 pm and I still haven’t written my weigh in for today *sigh*.
I’m going to make this short and sweet this week. It’s been a rough one for me. I did so well at Thanksgiving, and then the weekend hit. I decided to try my hand at eating out (Subway… Veggie Delight) and I think that started a spiral of bad decisions. It’s not that the Subway was all that bad, it was that I skipped my snacks that day because I was super busy and forgot and then I decided maybe it would make up for eating out. WRONG! Skipping my snacks and desserts made me feel a bit out of control. I started caving to my cravings and lost a little bit of will power when it came to not eating what everyone else was (even though it smelled oh so yummy). I finally figured things out by Tuesday morning, but the scale had taken a slight jump in the wrong direction by then. I was on track Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and was okay with my weigh in today… I am up 1 lb from last week making my total loss in one month 11.5 lbs. Not too shabby!

I have promised myself next week WILL be better! I have some news to share, too! My daughter, Kaytlin (she’s 18), is joining me on the family plan. She will be sharing her struggles and triumphs with everyone with me on Fridays. Today was her first day and she is doing well! I am very proud of her :O).
Part of working towards a healthier me is also getting to bed at a decent time and getting enough sleep (did you know that helps with weight loss?!). So… I must sign off. Good night!
Today was weigh in day for Nutrisystem buddies, too!! Make sure to drop in and visit Heather at Living on Love and Cents and Melissa at The Life of a Sippy Cup Mom and cheer them on!
