Wahl 2-in-1 Clip ‘N Trim Hair Clipper & Trimmer Review

I have performed many a haircut over the last 23 years and have tried several different brands of clippers. Hands down, Wahl brand has been my favorite.

Cutting my family’s started as a financial necessity when my husband and I were first married. We were poor college students living off of mac-n-cheese and pbj.

I started cutting my children’s hair for the same reason, their hair grew so quickly it was insane how much just a hair cutting bill could grow!

We now use a stylist (family member… with a family discount *wink*) for most hair cuts, but on occasion I still whip out the clippers. It’s rather simple to “pick up” and once you are comfortable with the process it’s rather enjoyable.

Don’t think you can do it? Did you know that the average home haircutter is comfortable cutting hair in 3 times or less – the same amount of time it takes for the clipper to pay for itself.

Wahl sent us the 2-in-1 Clip ‘N Trim to try out.

My test subject below is my Dad. He had been growing out his “Santa” look for quite some time and I convinced him it was time for a summer cut.

The clippers themselves felt nice in my hand. Not too big and the vibration was minimal (not very loud at all). Trimming his beard and mustache was a breeze. The process was quickly and painless (I’ve use some that pull and tug longer hair before… not a pleasant experience).

My Dad had very simple needs. His beard was cut using the 1/16” guide and his hair was cut using the 1” guide all over. He is a no fuss kind of guy and was very happy with the end results.

If you have a “no fuss” kind of guy in your house, I highly recommend purchasing a set of clippers. I just cut Ethan’s hair the other day as well and it’s refreshing to be able to “touch up” their look whenever needed. Even if you only use them for touch up sessions between hair cuts, you can save quite a bit of money in the end.
