Guylian Artisanal Belgian Chocolates

Guylian Chocolates are the ultimate chocolate experience for the chocolate lover.  Guylian chocolates are authentic Belgian chocolate truffles that began in Sint-Niklaas, Belgium.  In 1958, when Guy and Liliane Foubert joined in marriage, they also joined their names to come up with “Guylian”.

Today Guylian is known not only sold in Belgium, but across more than 100 countries across the world.  They are known for luxurious chocolate truffles that are intended to be savoured and enjoyed as a special indulgence.

I’m a chocolate lover and enjoy all different kinds of chocolates.  I got to try the trademark seashell & seahorse shaped chocolates, as well as the heart shaped “I love you” chocolates and 2 no sugar added bars (dark & milk chocolate).

The seashell & seahorse shaped chocolate truffles are beautifully made with marbled dark and white praline.  They are made with the signature hazelnut filling.

The heart shaped chocolates are made of milk chocolate and have a delicious praline filling.  On the back is imprinted “I love you” which is a nice touch for Valentine’s Day.

Guylian also offers sugar free chocolate.  I tried the dark and milk chocolate.  Both were great & I couldn’t tell that they were sugar free.  This is a great option for those wanting a chocolate “fix” but can’t have sugar.  So yummy!

    I read about the start of their chocolates, I thought it was so sweet that when they were married in 1958, they combined their lives and the name of the company. Thus creating a company named Chocolaterie Guylian.
