Kleenex has launched a Softness Worth Sharing Initiative. When you purchase specially marked boxes of Kleenex you may redeem your code online to send a care pack to someone special (while supplies last). I found these specially marked boxes at my local Wal-Mart.
I received a few care packs to experience both receiving and giving. The care pack contains a couple of packages of portable Kleenex, hand sanitizer, lip balm, a couple for a few free songs and coupons for Kleenex.
There are so many fun ways to deliver a Care Pack. With Halloween this week you could include a Care Pack in a Boo Box, you could carry them with you while trick or treating to share with families that might have a child with a cold-weather sniffle/runny nose or hand deliver it to someone you know that is under the weather… maybe with a fresh bowl or store bought can of soup.
I’ve made it a point to tell my children about the importance of sharing with others. Being thoughtful while giving of yourself, your time or a gift (big or small) can make someone’s day that much brighter. There is one person in particular that we decided to give our first Care Pack to. This person lives alone, has been in poor health and could really use an afternoon of visiting. Ethan and I packed up a lunch and went for a visit… bringing along a Care Pack. Between the lunch, the affection and attention from Ethan and us leaving the Care Pack I believe their day, maybe even week, was made a bit brighter. Sharing really is caring. What a fun and easy way with a Kleenex Care Pack.

How great and appropriate! This is the time of year for colds and sniffles, and Kleenex really comes through in helping. I like the idea of sending/giving care packages with kleenex. My husband and I really like their cool touch ones. We will often try to buy things like kleenex and toilet paper to give at Thanksgiving and Christmas. These are just important things to have on hand.
That is so sweet! As we get older we realize how important it is to look in on someone who is alone or an elderly couple who doesn’t get many visitors. Wonderful thing from Kleenex too. 🙂
