I tend to always have some sort of portable electronic item with me…. and tablets are a big deal in our house. The kids and I love to play on tablets but don’t really have much experience with tablets operating on the Windows 8.1 platform. I was honestly surprised at how well this compact yet sleek tablet performed under daily use. If you have used Windows 8 on your home computer/laptop, the functionality on the tablet will be second nature to you. The kids were able to download their favorite apps and navigate without much help. To be honest I really didn’t have a lot of high hopes for a $99 tablet and the Nextbook 8 totally surprised me. I have yet to get “hung up”, it runs smoothly and is ultra lightweight so that I can easily toss it into my bag without noticing a huge weight difference. I think this a great family tablet!

I want the Netbook 8 Quad Core Windows 8.1 tablet. I have been using my cell phone for Amazon Kindle and my cell phone doesn’t hold very many apps plus it is very small. I would love to have this to use for reading. I like that it has lots of room for apps. I bought an SD card for my phone only to find out you couldn’t move apps to the SD card on my phone. Very disappointing. I think a tablet would work much better for me.
