When I travel for the blog, I like to have business cards to hand out. Conferences and Summits are a blur in your mind by the time they are over. I like to think that I have a good memory, but all of the .com addresses people have slung my way eventually slur together. Having someone’s blog card helps me remember to visit their site once the hubbub of the day has died down.
When I found out that I was invited to the Applebee’s Bloggers Summit I had very little time to design and order a new set of cards. I had to find someone that could delivery quickly (while still being affordable) but still have the quality I demand (I’ve seen some cards from “other places” that could probably have been made nicer at home).

NextDayFlyers.com’s tagline is “in today –> out tomorrow”. I decided to put them to the test. I picked the standard 3.5 x 2” cards. These are 14 pt card stock and Next Day Flyers gives you a finish option of High Gloss UV or Flat Satin Matte Finish.
At first I played around with the template gallery but finally decided I wanted a clean, simple but unique to me card and chose their “design online” option.
If you have any experience using photo editing software this process will be fairly simple for you. I only had a couple of small issues that I quickly figured out. After fiddling with the fonts, placement and images I was going to use I placed my order and waited patiently for my order.
I received my box in record time and I was thrilled with the end product! The card stock was thick and sturdy, the colors were amazing and bright and the printing was crisp and professional. I chose the High Gloss UV option for my finish which added to the durability of the cards. The photo above is over 2 cards that have spent that last 3 days in my front pocket (yes, I put a black box over my phone number. I 
my readers but I really don’t have enough minutes on my plan to chat with everyone). A “normal” business card would be ratty and unusable by this time. My cards only have a tiny bit of wear on the edges!
I will be headed back to Next Day Flyers for my next batch of blog cards… maybe even a set of “family cards” even sooner!

If you want your cards to stand out above the rest, you need something unique. Besides being able to add your one graphics to the their templates, I like the rounded corner cards ad they are very unique.
