Microsoft Office Wants to See How You Get It Done
I am posting this as part of the Windows Champions Ambassador program. All opinions are my own.
With the holiday season quickly approaching, the need to get things done away from the office has never been greater…or more desirable. A recent study conducted online by Harris Interactive on behalf of Microsoft found that more than half of office workers (53%) would be willing to work more hours—and one in five would be willing to take a pay cut—to have more flexibility in where and when they get work done. What’s more, nearly one in five admitted that they have worked while going to the bathroom!
To help people realize how – and what – they can get done no matter where they are, Microsoft Office 365 declared November 7th Get It Done Day and started a movement for the unbound accomplishers – everyone from the Enterprise Chief Technology Officer to household Chief Family Officers. Get It Done Day is a day to spark action among people looking to balance life’s demands, on their own terms, whether they’re the chief financial officer or the chief family officer.
Microsoft is celebrating what’s truly possible when busy people meet productivity tools that get the job done. From anywhere. Offline or online. On a PC, tablet, Mac or phone.
Microsoft Wants to See How YOU Get It Done!
You and a friend could win a trip to some of the most happening events anywhere. Get it done alongside the most accomplished athletes, filmmakers and musicians around—on a trip to NYC, a journey to Park City, Utah, or a musical voyage to Austin, Texas. Visit www.office.com/getitdone to share a photo and enter to win.
I have been known to “Get It Done” at the local Panera Bread Store. I go there when I need no distractions, free wifi, easy access to outlets and refreshments. Because I run Windows in Parallel on my MacBook Pro I am a true multi-tasker and can get so much done in a short period of time!
Over a billion people–that’s 1 in 7 on the planet–rely on the familiar experience of Office to get things done. I am one of them!! But the world is changing, and Office is changing too. Now in the cloud, Office 365 brings familiar tools, reinvented and built around the way people want to work today. Flexibly. Responsive. On the go. On multiple devices.
Get inspired and #GetItDone!
