Little Me Multiple Birth Program

Growing up, I had always dreamed of the time(s) when I would have babies. I wished, hoped and dreamed for twins. My aunt had twins when I was around 13. I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to stay with her for a week when the babies first came to lend a helping hand. This only fueled my wish for multiples.

My pregnancy with Kaytlin was not a typical one. At six weeks I had an incident which led the doctors to believe that with a 99.99% certainty I had lost the pregnancy. This diagnosis was given because there was amniotic fluid detected at the hospital. I had blood drawn on a Friday with instructions to have it drawn again on Monday to determine if I had indeed lost the pregnancy. Obviously, Kaytlin is here and we had wonderful news at that doctors appointment. I had a few more episodes during that pregnancy that led the doctors to believe that I had indeed lost a twin at six weeks. At Kaytlin’s birth she was a healthy 8 1/2 pound chubby baby.

That baby is now going to be turning 21 this May. I have since had 3 more healthy pregnancies/babies and am thankful for each and every one of them. I know that financially, even having my children spread a little distance apart (well, a few were a LOT apart) caused a financial strain on the family.. especially in the beginning. Thankfully there are companies like Little Me that offer a Multiple Birth Program. If you are expecting multiples, then head to the site and sign up!
