What I find most interesting about Biltmore is all the different people who have visited it along with the sheer beauty of the architecture, decor and, grounds.
Besides being on my list of places I desperately want to visit, and besides the fact that it is absolutely breathtakingly gorgeous, and besides the fact that I am so jealous my grandmother got to go there, you can find decorating tips, recipes, and ideas for what to do with Biltmore wine corks on their website.
I find it interesting that they have their own wine.

I learned that they have a Candlelight Christmas Evenings all decorated for the holidays. I would love to see it I bet it would be gorgeous!
The website has a vast selection to browse through, from the activities at Biltmore to the beautiful surroundings for sightseeing and the wonderful Winery to casually tour and partake in. I was so pleasantly surprised by the website and so impressed to see such inspirational decorating & entertaining ideas, delicious recipes, helpful gardening tips, and stories of Holiday traditions. I am anxious to plan our next family vacation for this destination of “Old World Charm” at the Biltmore House & Gardens and the Antler Hill Village.

I find it interesting that there is a restaurant transformed from old stables. I love finding unique restaurants and am curious what special touch they have been able to achieve with old stables 🙂

I love the cottage option on Biltmore Estate. I also like that it is not too far from our family in NC.

I learned it’s nestled on 8,000 acres in the mountains of Asheville, NC.
It was interesting to me that the initial proposal for the Biltmore winery was dismissed in the 70s.
They have cottages to stay in, if you want a more homey feel to your visit. Amazing they are still family owned & operated after all these years. And as a bonus, if you love the feel of the decor, you can buy furniture & plants to help bring your memories home with you. =)

My husband and I visited Biltmore Estates last year for their candlelight Christmas evening…what a special treat for the holidays

I learned that George Vanderbilt created Biltmore as an escape from everyday life.

I didn’t realize you could buy their wines online. We actually visited the Biltmore on our honeymoon, it is gorgeous! Loved everything, the gardens are amazing, it even has an bowling alley. I would love to see it at Christmas time. It is really worth a visit.

i found it interesting that it is nestled on 8,000 acres in the mountains of Asheville, NC also they have a ton of fun activities you can do, shopping being one of them! they have alot of little shops to look around in. also they have a few restaurants/diners you can eat in! they have activities and things for people of all ages! kids to adults, so there is some fun for everyone!

I found it interesting that you can STAY at the Biltmore Estate now! I visited there as a child in the 80’s and only remember being awed at how impressive and beautiful it was-didn’t have any idea you could stay there. I am definitely interested in a stay at the Inn, especially now that my mom lives in NC! Thanks for the chance to win the cool prizes!

We love going to the Biltmore!!! We have a season pass and enjoy going to the farmyard and gardens!!
We love to visit the Biltmore. We try to see the house a couple times a year, but enjoy going to the barnyard and gardens all spring and summer long. They throw a wonderful Easter Egg Hunt!

Biltmore is our families favorite place to visit. It is so beautiful & dreamy!
Wow the facade of the complex is stunning and unusual. I love that they have a shopping section for gifts and to bring home a bit of the fun. But the most wonderful is the Skinner-crafted organ which fills the grand Banquet Hall and First Floor during Christmastime. WOW!
I’ve never been at Christmas – we have been thinking about going back, so maybe we should shoot for this time next year!

I have visited the Biltmore 5 times and each one seems new. The pool and bowling alley are cool. The large size of rooms is impressive. the phone system for early years is great.

I thought it would be wacky expensive, but on the winter weekdays its $129. That would make a nice getaway.
I found the place itself quite interesting – very neat and historic place.
What I found interesting is that it is Americas Largest Home and they have the most beautiful gardens.
