Holiday Gift Guide | TollyTots Merida with Angus

If you’ve been following OurKidsMom for a while, you know by now that we are huge fans of TollyTots toys and huge fans of Disney. Emma has most of the standard Disney Princess dolls, but her only Merida doll is Barbie sized. When we were given the opportunity to review Merida with Angus from TollyTots I knew she’d be a hit.

Our current Merida doll’s hair is a hot mess, which I guess goes in line with the movie. Being the mom that I am, though, it bothers me. Taking this Merida out of her box I knew I wasn’t going to have as big of a problem with her hair. It is much silkier and the curls are not as obnoxiously tight. I also noticed with this Merida that her limbs were jointed. This makes her poseable and it makes it much easier for Merida to ride Angus. She is a good toddler sized doll making her more fun to play with and haul around the house. Although this Merida is a bit younger than portrayed in the movie, she is beautiful .

I also noticed that Angus had the same long silky locks, making him almost irresistible to brush. Angus comes completely equipped with saddle and reigns so that he and Merida can go for afternoon gallops.

    Today is the first time I’ve ever heard of TollyTots and I wish I’d had one of these toys as a child! But, I guess, toys for younger cousins is just as fine. 🙂 I loved the Tiana Gumbo Cooking Party set and can think of two little girls in my life that would love it as well!
