Holiday Gift Guide | Lalaloopsy Littles Sew Cute Patient

Last year Emma met Lalaloopsy. This disproportioned top heavy rag doll “come to life” won her heart and imagination. We’ve been collecting these dolls here and then, so when I heard about the first “Littles” doll, Lalaloopsy Sew Cute Patient Stumbles Bumps ‘n’ Bruises with her pet bear, I knew Emma would love her, too.

Stumbles Bumps ‘n’ Bruises Sew Cute Patient doll features an adorable round face, button eyes, and a personality all her own. Created from the cloth of a nurse’s dress, she’s a little clumsy but always a good patient. Like all Lalaloopsy dolls and Loopsy Littles Dolls, she was once a rag doll who came to life just as her last stitches were sewn.

This doll comes with a pair of pajamas, a bathrobe, a bunny bedroom slipper, and a cast. Her outfit is removable, so she can take off her robe when it’s time for bed, or her cast when her leg is healed.

There is so much to love about this little doll. She comes with everything needed to help fix her boo-boos. She comes with a medicine bottle that is fillable and a heart-shaped bandage that you can soak to wipe away the bumps and bruises on her face. All of the marks on her face vanish when they come in contact with warm water.

Once you’ve taken care of her external boo-boos, check her heartbeat with the stethoscope. The kids love to hear the silly sounds from placing the stethoscope on her heart… like a croaking frog, goofy whistles and a ticking clock. If she’s thirsty you can use the sippy cup with disappearing milk up to her mouth and tilt. The liquid magically drains when tilted and reappears when put upright.

Lalaloopsy Sew Cute Patient is rated for ages 4 and up. If you intend to give all of the pieces to your child, I agree with this rating. The teddy bear comes apart with removable arms, legs and ear. Several of the other pieces are too small for the younger age group, but not including them would spoil a lot of the fun. There are a lot of things “to do” with Stumbles Bumps ‘n’ Bruises which makes her a super imaginative toy. Even Ethan likes to play with her wiping off the bruises and reassembling the bear.
