Every few months our extended family gets together to celebrate all of the family birthdays. This gathering was timed just right for Emma’s 6th birthday, so we decided to host. Although we went simple with pizza, we always want to have healthy options available with a fruit &/or veggie tray. We decided we’d go a little more fun with our fruit and deliver a basket of “flowers” to Emma that were edible… from Edible Arrangements.

Our bouquet we reviewed is called Luminous Star Bouquet with Swizzle Sampler.

A beautiful winter fruit bouquet that’s sure to be the star of your holiday party. The NEW Luminous Star Celebration fruit bouquet features festive, star-shaped pineapple, and is filled with fresh strawberries, cantaloupe, honeydew and grapes. Plus, they’ve also added a variety of crisp green apple wedges and fresh strawberries dipped in gourmet semisweet chocolate with white swizzle, too!

My sister was able to swing by our local store and bring the bouquet up for the party. It barely made it in the door before people starting swarming to see what kind of goodies were in it. The pineapple stars disappeared almost as quickly as the chocolate covered strawberries and apples. There wasn’t a bad piece of fruit on the entire bouquet, though. All of it was juicy, sweet and fresh.
