MY TAKE: 
EcoMom sent us a bottle of SmartyPants Gummy Vitamins to try. SmartyPants is a children’s multivitamin and mineral supplement. I try to remember to give Emma and Ethan a vitamin daily so this was right up my ally. They were more than thrilled to help me out on this review. As of lately, I have been paying more attention to what exactly is in the foods & beverages I am giving my family. Here is what I love about these vitamins:

At first glance these look like sugar coated gummy candies (gumdrops) that, as a kid, I would eat by the handfuls. Emma and Ethan have been very willing participants and have actually been asking for their vitamins every morning. I decided that I needed to try a few myself to write a thorough review (right? *grin*). I was pleased with the taste. They were not overly sweet… just enough. There are only 5 grams of organic cane sugar per serving (that’s 80% less than a glass of unsweetened apple juice!). They were not overly chewy or sticky (you know how gumdrops will stick to your molars? not these) and I didn’t find a flavor I didn’t like (flavors are lemon, orange and cherry). Emma has been a little picky and has been favoring the red ones, but Ethan will take whatever I give him. Lucky for them… serving size posted on the bottle says for children and adults 3 years of age and older: chew 4 gummies daily. The bottle has 120 gummies giving one child a full months supply.

My final say? My children love these vitamins and actually help remind me that they haven’t had a vitamin yet today! For an eco-friendly product that is safe for children with most allergies this is a definite winner!
