Each raceway is composed lanes that loop, drop, climb and bank – but also contain blocks, and gaps that will knock the player off their game. 100 basic DaGeDar balls to unlock and choose from. Each ball carries abilities of Acceleration, Top Speed, Defense and Attack. Single or Multi-Player game play. 2 balls are in play at a time. 50 fast and furious raceways. When looking at this game for review, I knew my son would love it. His favorite type of DS games are racing and strategy/skill games and this game has both! At first I wasn’t sure what DaGeDar was all about, but after watching it on his DS, I could tell it was something he would enjoy. Basically, there are character balls that each have skills to help them win the race. You choose your character & race him against another player/ball. It is also similar to Pokemon where you can trade and collect. I really like that my son can play single or multi-player. Definitely a plus when the kids are fighting over a game! I definitely recommend this game!
This game is rated “E for Everyone” but I think it would be best suited for ages 8 and up. It doesn’t require a lot of reading, but the strategy and some of the “moves” may be too difficult for young children.
