Sure, you know you are supposed to eat healthily, but are you doing it? Eating more fruits and vegetables can boost your energy, keep you fuller longer, and help you lose weight.

One way to make this doable is to meal plan for the week for all your meals and snacks. In addition, doing a bit of meal prep on weekends, or in the evenings, can ensure that you have vegetables and fruits ready to grab and go when you finally get a chance to have a bite to eat.

Move More

While you might not have time to fit in a full-length workout, you can do a lot with the little bit of time you have. Whether you opt for a quick lift, a short yoga video, or you just choose to be more active when your kids are playing, you will feel so much better with movement. Movement can also help contribute to weight loss and combat many chronic health conditions like depression, diabetes, and heart disease.

Consistent Sleep

It is really hard to know the type of sleep you are going to to get in any given night, especially if your children are young. This can make getting consistent sleep almost impossible. However, you can benefit your body by ensuring you go to bed at the same time each night and getting up at the same time each morning. If your body knows what to expect, it will heal, digest, and provide you with more energy throughout the day.

Get Outside

The power of nature can be profound. Do not underestimate what just 15 minutes out in the sun can do to revive your energy and make you feel like you can take on the rest of your day.
