Being aware of my surroundings while running around my neighborhood is very important to me. Nothing has happened thus far, but as a woman I can not simply let my guard down. Busy drivers that are in a rush don’t always look both ways, cars zoom down my residential street much faster than they should and to be honest, as much as I would like to believe everyone is good in the world, there are some not so nice people. I like that fact that they are sweat proof! I don’t know how many times I’ve been running and by mile three I’m so sweaty that my earbuds are falling out left and right. It’s a nightmare.
The safety factor is huge for me. I love running and I love music but I hate running outside with music because you can’t hear your surroundings. These solve that problem

I like that these headphones aren’t like so many others – especially earbuds, since the part that goes into the ear is uncomfortable for me. These sit just outside the ear, so not only do they look to be more comfortable, but while allowing you to hear the music or whatever you’re listening to, they don’t completely block out other sounds. You need to be aware of your surroundings, even when listening to music,, and earbuds don’t let you hear things around you.

I learned that they have Transducers which guide mini vibrations through the cheekbones to the inner ears, delivering sound without plugging or covering them.
I like that the sound goes through your cheekbones, leaving your ears open for other things. One of the things we are always worried/annoyed with our children is them not hearing what is said while they are wearing headphones!

These are pretty neat. I don’t completely understand how they work (even though I read the explanation)–but I love that you can wear them & still hear what’s going on around you.

I had no idea this was possible: that you could hear without putting the headphone completely over the ear. It’s a great idea. It lets you hear what’s going on around you.
Oh wow I was going to say these looked like they would stay on while running and while this may be true they look really uncomfortable and like they would hurt my ears by my guess by looking at the pics on the guys ears. Owww!!
