One of my biggest hurdles on my current weight loss / healthy lifestyle journey is eating enough protein, fruits and vegetables. If I were to eat the amount that I should, I wouldn’t have enough room left in my belly for all of the rest of the calories I should be eating as well. So… the fruit and vegetable department always fell short and my protein shakes were always grainy. That is until I found the Nutri Ninja Auto-IQ Pro Compact Blender System.

I had heard so many good things about Ninja blenders, but I always just poo poo’d them. I had a lower end blender that I had tried to use for fruit and veggie smoothies and figured all blenders were the same.

Nope!

I have been using the Nutri Ninja for protein shakes and fruit/veggie smoothies for a couple of months now. I love how easily it shreds through ice so that my protein shakes are nice and thick without huge clumps of ice in the bottom.

Making a fruit or veggie smoothie in the Nutri Ninja is phenomenal! For veggie smoothies I tend to go heavy on the vegetables with a big cup of power greens followed by about 3 chunks of pineapple. I then fill it about half way up with water and a little chipped ice and blend. For this smoothie I use the Smooth Boost and Extract setting for the smoothest drink. The Ninja® Auto-iQ™ Technology combined with Pro Extractor Blades® breaks down whole foods, ice & seeds for nutrient & vitamin extraction using intelligent blending programs. I am left with absolutely no pulp and I have a fresh healthy glass of vegetable juice sweetened with a tiny bit of pineapple.

We also like to make a super thick shake out of frozen fruit, some almond milk and a splash of vanilla. The kids eat this with a spoon and it’s a much healthier alternative on hot days than the corn syrup ladened popsicles they used to reach for.

There are so many uses for this powerful blender that I typically use it up to three times a day! I’m sure when I get the opportunity to use the food prep/dough chopping blade I’ll be using it even more. I love the small footprint, the ease of blending, how well it shreds through ice, frozen fruit and full pieces of vegetables and that it uses an all in one, blend it and go container. The Nutri Ninja has made eating a balanced diet so much easier for me!
