What a Mom Wants: ProFlowers Review & $50 gc GIVEAWAY [CLOSED]

When you think “gifts for Mothers Day”… honestly, what is the first thing that pops into your head?

FLOWERS, right?

I like to think outside of the “roses” box.

Here are a couple of bouquets that I almost couldn’t pass up…

Although I love bouquets, I love that a potted flower will last as long as you take care of it. So after sifting through the various potted options, I found this beautiful Potted Blue Hydrangea. I remember my neighbor had a Hydrangea bush that we loved to pick the bunches of blooms off of as a kid.

In the past, I have not had particularly great luck ordering anything floral from other websites. This was my first experience with ProFlowers, I placed my order and held my breath…

My flowers were delivered by box, not florist. They were delivered on the day promised and my first glimpse inside surprised me!

Although they were not as blue as the photo, my potted flower was in full bloom and beautiful!  I excitedly (and carefully… UPS shook my box a bit and dirt was everywhere) removed it to find it nicely wrapped for protection.

My overall experience, from shopping online to ordering and receiving the flowers was a fantastic experience. The flowers received were as described… maybe not as blue as in the stock photo, but compared to my last flower ordering experience these were incredible!

    This is more a memory of a tradition–my mother’s birthday was May 14–which meant it ALWAYS fell near Mother’s Day and frequently on the same day. It was NEVER acceptable to get one gift to cover both days, not matter if it was large or small.
