It’s insane, but the minute Thanksgiving hits I start to crave peppermint. Yes, pumpkin still sounds good… but peppermint makes me drool.
The kids and I love to treat ourselves to peppermint bark every December. When I saw this version with Oreos, I knew they would be a hit.
INGREDIENTS
20 Starlight Mints or 10 small Candy Canes
12 Oreos
8 oz Chocolate Chips
8 oz White Chocolate Chips
The process is fairly simple.
- Line a cookie sheet with wax paper.
- Process Oreos in food processor until crushed into larger pieces.
- Melt chocolate chips by microwaving 45 seconds and stirring and repeating until melted and smooth.
- Pour onto prepared pan and smooth into an even layer.
- Distribute crushed Oreos over the chocolate.
- Place in refrigerator for 15 minutes to set up.
- Process mints in food processor until crushed.
- Melt white chocolate chips by microwaving 45 seconds and stirring and repeating until melted and smooth.
- Pour onto cooled chocolate and Oreos and smooth to cover.

I would never have thought of mixing these two – oreos are a weakness for me so I might have to try this for the holidays!

My kids and husband would love this. My husband gave me a recipe to make “Christmas coal” with Oreos, butter and marshmallows. I love simple recipes!

I’m not a big fan of peppermint, but this seems easy enough to leave out. Other than that, I bet I would have to make this daily since my husband would eat it all. It looks superb!
