Rudolph | Candy Cane Reindeer
Ok, so I know it’s not even Thanksgiving yet, but I can’t help but start getting excited for the holidays the Monday before Thanksgiving.
One of my children’s favorite characters from our holiday books (that get read over and over) is Rudolph.
This cute, quick and simple craft leaves my littles bouncing in their seat and humming the song while they enjoy their snack.
INGREDIENTS
24 small Candy Canes
12 Hershey Kisses
12 Red Candy Decorations (like Red Hots)
24 Candy Eyes
1/2 cup Dark Chocolate Candy Melting Chips
1 White Candy Melting Chip
DIRECTIONS
Line a cutting board or cookie sheet with wax paper.
Heat chocolate candy chips by microwaving for 30 seconds stirring and repeating until melted.
Take 2 candy canes and dip the bottoms (straight parts) in chocolate and shake off excess.
Place together on wax paper so hooks of each go off in opposite directions.
Place an unwrapped Hershey Kiss on the chocolate covered canes.
Repeat for remaining canes.
Using a toothpick, take a dab of melted chocolate and glue the red candy on top of the kiss as the nose.
Using a toothpick, take a dab of melted chocolate and glue on the eyes.
Take the white chocolate chip and place on wax paper and heat in microwave for 15 seconds.
Take another toothpick and paint a white mouth on each reindeer.

I will have to make these for the grandkids. They will love them!
Cute and so clever. And I have everything I need–except the eyes. I’ll try to get some, because these little reindeer would be a fun addition to a cookie tray. Thanks!
This is so cute and would be fun to do with my son!
And you can eat them all up. I’ve made candy cane reindeer before but used pipe cleaners that you couldn’t eat.
My son loves candy canes, so he would love to do these with me!
These are adorable! I might have to try making these with my girls. They are going to love them.
