Shopkins Summer Playdate

Samples received for review & to share with party goers. All opinions are my own.

We recently had a group of kiddos and their families over to have a great time with us outside.

Festivities included a bouncy water slide, water canon fights, trampoline, sandbox, swing set, food and SHOPKINS!!

“What are Shopkins?”, you say?

Shopkins is Moose Toy’s newest collectible toy.

They are super cute, super tiny, grocery-themed characters that kids can collect and trade with their friends.

Each character is inspired by items from the aisles in the grocery store, and will bring non-stop shopping fun to kids this summer.

I introduced Shopkins to the kiddos at our party and they were an instant hit!

I didn’t tell them anything about the toys… I just told them to have at it and have fun. They were immediately drawn to the checkout with the conveyor belt.

Stuff the shopping bags with Shopkins was fun, too. They filled the shopping cart and baskets with as many as they could squish in.

It wasn’t long before they found the slide, which of course got the little guy excited and involved.

I can totally see Shopkins being the new collectible of the year. The fun is in trying to collect them all. Each package has the shown Shopkins, plus a few “surprise” ones that are hidden. Of course there are the harder to find Shopkins and they all wanted to start trading as soon as they got their sets.
