Taggies Swing ‘N Go Portable Swing

I think every baby registry needs a swing on it. You may think that it’s not needed, but as a mom of 3 that has learned to multi task pretty well, sometimes it’s a necessity. When it comes time to take time to make supper, shower, or do some laundry then I like to be able to put my baby down where he will be entertained, comfortable, and safe at the same time.

I was sent the Taggies Swing ‘N Go Portable Swing to try out with Mason. Taking it out of the box I noticed it does require some assembly, but it only took me about 30 minutes to get it fully assembled. I loved that the colors are a great color combination that is very neutral making it great for either gender.

The fabric of the swing is very soft and looks comfortable. The seat has looped Taggies all over it to entertain your baby. There is a 5 point harness to keep you baby where they are meant to stay. To access the harness buckles you need to flip up a pocket and then secure. The pocket has a cute peek-a-boo Taggies caterpillar to play and chew on while Mommy is busy that can be removed for washing.


The only issue I have with the pocket that covers the buckle is, when I’m buckling my baby in the pocket has to flip up which puts it right in your baby’s face. If I could change anything, I would make it flip down. 

The toy bar on top of the swing has 2 colorful Taggies soft toys that hang down. These I really like because Mason is now starting to focus on things and he will stare at them for a long time and even try talking to them. The toy bar is removable which makes it easier for getting your baby in and out of the swing.

Mason loves this swing and loves the music feature that plays music and nature sound. This is great for distraction or to help calm them down. There are 5 swing speeds to choose from and a 30, 45 or 60 minute timer. The swing has a built in 90 minute default auto-shut off which I appreciate because I tend to forget to turn it off or my daughter likes to turn it on and walk away.


This swing does only run on batteries but that isn’t a big deal breaker for me as the battery life can be long with these swings. This is an incredible portable swing. It’s portable, super fast and easy to fold up with one hand, it’s lightweight and has a carrying handle making it easy to take with to grandma’s house or on a holiday where it’s nice to have in a hotel room with you.

The swing doesn’t take up much space at all making it easy to tuck away in a corner. If you don’t have much space then this is a great swing to put on your registry. I recommend this swing for anyone looking for a great affordable swing for at home or as a extra for at grandma’s house.
