Something About Silver Mother’s Necklace Review

I have been looking at hand stamped silver jewelry for a while now.  When I found out I had the opportunity to review some I was thrilled.  I immediately went to the Something About Silver website to browse their selection and make my decision.  It was a lot harder than I thought it would be.  There are so many options, all of which are beautiful. I knew I wanted four charms with names and birthstones on it, one for each of my children.  After more than an hour, I had finally made my decision.  The “Little Gems Necklace”.

The service was incredibly fast, and my necklace was here a lot sooner than I expected. It arrived in a simple box tied with a bow, making it perfect whether a gift for someone else or yourself.  I immediately opened it up and found another nice surprise,  the jewelry comes in a cute little anti-tarnish storage bag with a dry silver polishing cloth and a card with care instructions on how to keep it looking as beautiful as the day I received it.

The necklace exceeded my expectations.  I loved it even more in person than I did on the website.  It was great to see it with my own personalization of having my own children’s names stamped on it with each of their birthstones to top the charm off.  I have been wearing it for several days now and have had many compliments.

Each charm measures 5/8”, is hand stamped silver and is a  true one of a kind treasure. One of the great things about this necklace are the options.  You can customize your own with as many charms as you like… wheather you have 1 or 6 kids you can represent each of them.  Even with 4 of charms, the necklace is not overwhelming and is  just a simple statement. You also get to pick the chain.  I chose the 18” sterling bead chain.  There are other lengths of the bead chain available and also an 18” sterling link chain.  Depending on the product you choose there are different fonts and symbols you can use to make it your own, too.  All these options help you to pick the perfect item for you.

Something About Silver doesn’t just make necklaces.  They have other jewelry options including bracelets and earrings. They don’t just stop there… they have personalized gifts and keepsakes for everyone!  How about a guitar pick for Dad? A Christmas tree ornament for a teacher or babysitter?  Hand stamped baby spoons, personalized bridal party gifts, grandma gifts, a gift for a new mom,  or just a gift for yourself, the possibilities are endless.  I know I will definitely be purchasing some gifts for my loved ones.
