My Take:
I was excited to try the Munchie Mug. Emma and Ethan are my 3rd and 4th children and I was tired of messy “walk around” snacks. Worse yet, I was tired of having to clean out the diaper bag every time we went out of the house. I have yet to have found a product like this at a store… this messy container is the only one I’ve found and it just doesn’t work well… and this is my diaper bag after one outing “before Munchie Mug“. Remind you of anything?

Out of the box, I was intrigued. The cup is a large size, great for older toddlers as mine always seem to finish their snack and still want more. The lid is made of a stretchy material that I equate with a thick spandex… you put your hand through and it conforms to it! Tip the cup, shake it, drop it… nothing was coming out, even with their hand in it… YEAH! It also comes with a separate plastic lid to put on when you are not ready to serve… helps keep the snacks fresh.
Emma’s cup came first, but I decided to try it on her little brother as he was my messy snacker. You know the one… he tries so hard to be careful walking across the room with the baggies, the cup, the bowl… but inevitably he leaves a trail or worse yet, a pile. Ethan didn’t hesitate after I showed him how the fabric separated for his hand and he dug in. I let him travel throughout the house with the Munchie Mug… giving it the ultimate test drive. Through the living room, up and down the couch, up the stairs, down the hall, into his bedroom, up and down the bed… walking, running, jumping and sliding down the stairs… not a single crumb! Oh My Heavens… I am a HAPPY mom!
I’ve been a mom for 18 years and this is the best snack item I have seen! I love that it is virtually leak proof, it comes with a separate solid plastic screw on lid that helps keep the snack item fresh until you are ready to feed it and I love that the cup is a larger size so I do not run out or need to refill.
This is a definite MUST HAVE item! Buy a few and put them away for birthdays or baby showers! The recipient will THANK YOU!
