Enterprise Rent-A-Car wants to say “Thank You” to the people who made their growth possible. To say thank you, they have started the 50 million tree pledge. Enterprise and Arbor Day Foundation have partnered to plant 50 million trees all across the United States in US National Forests… one million trees a year over the next 50 years. That’s like planting a new Central Park every 10 days!
Enterprise will be airing a new “Thanks to America” commercial during the 2012 London Olympics. The commercial will air on NBC, NBC Sports & MSNBC during the Olympics from July 27-August 12, including during the Closing Ceremonies. So stay tuned for it… but if you miss it live, you can also view the spot online on nbcolympics.com.
Enterprise has also developed a Facebook app that will allow you to plant a virtual tree as a show of thanks to someone important in your life. Since Saturday was my 24th wedding anniversary I chose to send my tree of thanks to my husband. There are several trees with different meanings to choose from and then it will post on his wall so he can view it and it also has a link so that you can print it as well.

He hasn’t had an easy past 8 years, so he poured himself into school and graduated #7 out of 600 students – earning him a tuition scholarship to a private university.
