The Kidco Peapod is a kid’s travel bed that is extremely lightweight and very compact.

It’s camping season for us and I wasn’t sure what I was going to use for my youngest to sleep in knowing he was safe and not going to fall out of bed.

When your limited on space you don’t want to packing and bringing a big pack N’ play with you that takes up too much space and are heavy.

The Peapod P3011  really couldn’t have come at a better time.

Tent out of the box
There is no assembly required. Setup is easy: just take it out of the box, unzip the storage bag, while holding onto the sleep tent remove the stretchy safety strap and let go of the tent. Keeping it away from yourself, the tent will automatically pop open and is ready for use.

The Peapod P3011 open dimensions are 46″L x 28″W x 18″H, small enough to fit in smaller places. The recommended age for the Peapod is 1-3years, for older kids there is the Peapod Plus which is a bigger tent and aimed for ages 1-5.

Front Panel Open and Closed
The sleep tent features a large front zipper panel for entering and exiting the tent.

The bottom of the tent and the front zipper panel feature a lightweight mesh to allow great airflow.

The mesh along the bottom gives me a peace of mind knowing it has a breathable bottom.

Using the tent outside
The tent gives UV protection which is great for for outdoor use.

My son hates the feel of grass so we like to use the PeaPod outside for him to just to play inside of, while providing him with some shade when needed.

Sleep Pad
The tent comes with a Micro-Lite sleeping pad that attaches to the underside of the floor with snaps. The pad  is super easy to remove for cleaning and then re-attach for use. There are anchor straps on the bottom for when using outdoors.

Sleeping in the PeaPod
If your on the go, whether it’s long trips or short trips, the Kidco PeaPod is nice and easy to take with you. It’s light enough that even the kids can be in charge of carrying it wherever you go.

I would definitely recommend the Kidco PeaPod to anyone who is on the go with small children.
