Summer is finally here and with the weather getting hotter and hotter my kids are getting anxious to be outside. H2OGO! sent me some fun water toys to review, and it’s been a long couple weeks waiting for this hot weather so we could break it out. The FIRST nice day we had my kids were biting at the bit to set up the triple slide and the water tetherball.
The first thing we took out was the water tetherball. Inside was the tetherball, instructions, and a repair patch. “Assembly” was easy… first I inflated the tetherball stand and ball, then in the bottom I filled it up as full as I could with water. I did find that the base and tetherball had to be as full as possible or else it wouldn’t stay standing up straight.
Hooking the hose up and turning the water on sends the water up through the inside of the stand and out the top through the hose. Water sprays out from all around the ball giving a wet and fun tetherball match.
My kids had so much fun playing with the H2OGO! Tether Ball. Take down was pretty easy as you just pull the base fill plug and the water drains fast… however deflating the stand took a little bit as it has a small valve.
Out of the box the Triple slider slip N slide included the slide, instructions, and a repair patch. As I unfolded the slide it was definitely longer then expected… 18 feet long.
I suggest inflating the ramp with a pump as it is a fairly large ramp. The fill plugs are easy to use as they are a large plug so you can connect a foot pump if you have one. There is a couple water pockets to fill in the ramp to help keep it weighed down. What a fun twist to the traditional slip n slide by adding a speed ramp which only adds more fun!
Connect the hose to the side of the slide and watch it fill up, once the edge and splash pool ring is full the water will spray out from all around the slide.
For my kids it was the race to make it to the splash pool at the end. This slip n slide gave my kids hours and hours of wet play that kept them all cool on a scorching hot day.
