My 2 oldest kids love trains, both will drift towards the train tracks when given toys. Chuggington has been one of my son’s favorite shows. Now that he is 6 he won’t admit it but if Chuggington comes on TV he still stops what he is doing to watch it.
Chuggington trains has taken building tracks to a whole new world. It’s not just the floor tracks anymore, it’s building towers of tracks to race down hills and over bridges!
I was sent four sets of tracks so that I could build the Boulder Bedlam track. To build the Boulder Bedlam track you need the following tracks:
Rescue at Rocky Ridge $39.99 (Came with Willson and Koko Die Cast Trains)
Stunt Brewster $19.99 (Came with Brewster Die Cast Train)
Twist and Turns Action Track Pack $14.99
Before I started my build I took out all the pieces out of the 4 sets and sorted them into their groups. On the back of each piece is a code number that makes finding the right piece super easy. Taking the time to sort into the groups made building fast and easy.
The Chuggington Stack your Track website is full of fun pictures, videos and building inspiration for any little engineer. I went into the Megabuild Junction where I was able to find and click on the Boulder Bedlam Megabuild step by step instructions.
The online instructions were the easiest toy instructions ever to follow. It only had you putting on 2-3 pieces in each step and you controlled when to move onto the next step so you can control your own pace. My son was at school when my daughter and I put it together, so my daughter got to help me get the piece I needed and help put it in the right spot.
It really didn’t take that long and the Boulder Bedlam Megabuild was complete and ready for play. My son was SO excited when he came in to see this amazing train track all built and ready for action. The first train he sent down the track he laughed and said, “Mom did you see how fast this track is? The train just ZZoooommms down all on it’s own!”
I have to add how sturdy this track is. Once complete I slid it on the carpet to move it to a different spot and only one support had to be put back into place.
I went on www.stackyourtrack.com and there is a video of the worlds tallest train track, of course being built out of the Chuggington stack your track sets, and it was just over 17 feet tall and it’s a must watch. Not only was I amazed at the height they built but noticing not a single sway or movement in that track, this is the sturdiest track I have ever seen.
There is nothing worse then getting a track together for your child only for it to break and you have to constantly go back and fix it. This track has been up for a good week now with hours of play being put into it and not once have I had to go fix it at any point in time. This is my kind of toy!
If you have a child who likes trains and building then this is THE perfect gift for them. The possibilities to build and create new tracks are endless and sky-high. This is a durable well thought out toy that any child will be entertained for hours.
