I was recently sent the Vtech CS6859 “hub of the home” cordless phone system to review. This is a great house phone that gives you so many features… ones that are a must in my house when it comes to selecting a good phone.

I appreciate that they have a higher protection against people being able to eavesdrop in on your phone calls. If you have a bigger house and need more handsets in your house this phone is great, you can add up to 5 handsets while only using one phone jack.

More than once I have received messages that were cut off because the caller did not have enough time. I also like the VTech LS6191 Retro Cordless Telephone with Connect To Call. I am sucker for anything retro.

I really like the fact that this VTech Cordless Phone has so many features. Foe Example, I like that it comes with an Answering Machine. It would seem simple enough, but its hard to find a phone with an Answering Machine feature. I also like that it keeps up to 10 phone numbers to redial, if needed, rather than the usual just one being saved.

I would love the phone because my old one has no caller ID, people complain that they can’t hear me when I use the phone, the battery dies after a few minutes, the voice mail has a low capacity for messages, and it’s over 15 years old!
