The Speidel company has been around since 1904 and they are known for quality timepieces and watchband accessories. They are committed to their product as well as giving back through their charity program, Change A Band, Change A Life™. A portion of proceeds from any Speidel product benefits U.S. military service members, wounded warriors and their families in partnership with Operation Homefront.

To get the word out about Speidel, I was given a Curli Q watch to review. I chose the Curli Q with stones in pewter. Upon arrival, I was highly impressed! The watch came in very nice packaging, and looked stunning.


I love this watch! I’ve gotten so many compliments on it. The stones sparkle and add such a nice touch!


There are knock-offs of Speidel’s Curli Q, but none compare. The Curli Q is authentic with real mother of pearl dials and stones that are riveted into the band – not just glued on. All watches are stainless steel and water resistant. The Curli Q comes in multiple styles with a variety of colors and textures. Options include zebra print, metallic, sheen, and silicone.

The leather wrap around has:

  • Stainless steel stud (some have clear rhinestone studs)
  • Mother of pearl dial
  • CZ bezel
  • Snap closure

The silicone wrap around has:

  • Dial matches band color
  • CZ bezel
  • Buckle closure

These watches would make a great gift! At a suggested retail price of only $39.99-$49.99 they are fashionable and affordable.
