We have 2 kids in private school & they are required to wear uniforms.  Our budget is tight & I am always looking for a good deal on the kids school uniforms so I was very excited to review a few samples from French Toast.

I tried to choose items from different clothing types so that I’d have some variety to review.  Here is a list of what I received:

Girls school uniforms
skirt
scooter – with built in shorts
polo
2 sweaters

Boys school uniforms
pants – adjustable waist, slim, double-knee
shorts – adjustable waist

My first reaction when pulling the clothes out of the box was that they were great quality!  I was thrilled with how cute the skirt & scooter were.  Next was to find out if everything fit.  Both kids wear size 10-12, but my son, Micah, is very slim, so I was curious how the clothes would fit on both of them.  They are not fond of trying on clothes – especially school uniforms, but they complied & tried it all on.  🙂


I won’t bore with all the details, but everything fit fine on Michaela.  She really likes the scooter with the built-in super soft shorts.  For Micah, everything fit – as long as he cinched up the waist on the shorts.  He’s used to pulling those straps tight for just about every pair of pants/shorts, so it didn’t bother him.  The “slim” pants fit perfect without the use of the elastic straps.  The jacket was a big hit with him, because he is always cold & this jacket has a liner.  First words out of his mouth were, “Ooooh!  So soft & warm!!”

When I was browsing the French Toast website, I noticed the great prices & huge selection.  The clearance prices are amazing but even the “regular” prices are great!  I will definitely be shopping FrenchToast.com for future purchases.

    I LOVE French Toast uniforms. My son owns and wears some and they are great – especially those slim fit ones like you mentioned. My daughter will be starting school this fall and will need uniforms, so I would love to be able to get Pleated Hem Jumper in navy or khaki for her for this fall!
