Kneebouncers Baby & Toddler Computer Learning Games Review [CLOSED Giveaway]

KneeBouncers was created out of necessity. As parents of two young children, my wife and I were constantly seeking balance. Maintaining order in our little part of the universe was (and still is) a vital key to survival. If one child had something of value, the next child would have something of equal value (or half of whatever the first child was holding). This system seemed to work for us.

Our house is a computer addicted house. The kids see Mommy blogging on a daily basis, Josh has his online game he plays constantly, Daddy jumps on for a little surfing and email and Kaytlin enjoys watching her shows and surfing Facebook. Recently Emma has joined the crowd… she plays sites like Nickjr.com and the like. Ethan loves to watch, but he just can’t seem to figure out the keyboarding and mouse skills that he needs to make the games perform properly.

That leads to frustration, fights and tears… as you can imagine.

I decided to surf for baby keyboard banger games on Google. I noticed kneebouncers.com and became excited. Could there really be a dedicated site to keyboard banger games?

Oh, joy… be still my heart. There is!

What is a keyboard or baby banger game, you might ask? It’s a computer game that responds to your child’s taps on the computer keyboard. ANY key will get a response from the game. With no right or wrong way to play, the toddler can enjoy seeing the computer respond without frustration and tears.KB_NumbersKB_AlphaYour little ones will be introduced to some of the building blocks of learning through 20+ fun, engaging interactive games. Ethan particularly likes the “bubble” game. The more keys he presses, the more bubbles appear. They are different colors and shapes.

Kneebouncers has built in safety controls to keep your child on their website. For instance, I clicked on the “our story” button at the bottom of the page and it asked me to type the word “go” in the box for security. That way the child doesn’t unintentionally leave the website.

Ethan can “mostly” play unattended. Our keyboard has two “windows” keys on it and he occasionally hits them and needs help navigating back to the game. He also needs my help on occasion to change the games. I’m sure as he gets a little older and can navigate with a mouse he will pick that up as well. He is a happy guy now that he is getting a little computer time in and I am happy that the fights are dying down and Emma doesn’t have to “share” her computer time with her keyboard banging brother.

    I love how easy this is for my just turned two year old to play. She is always trying to play on the computer and surprisingly can do quite a bit of damage in the process. She once turned my entire monitor display sideways! I didn’t know that was possible and I have a BA in computer technology, lol.
