Sometimes I long for the “old” days when there really wasn’t anything better to do (as a kid) than to go outside and play. I remember making mud pies, playing hopscotch, jumping rope, riding bikes, taking walks from one friends house to the other and let’s not forget spending time in the pool.
Available on May 24th, Mickey Mouse and his famous pals (Minnie, Donald, Pluto, Goofy and Daisy) join efforts to inspire preschoolers around the country to enjoy the outdoors by camping, fishing and exploring nature. This Mickey Mouse Clubhouse DVD is ready for the summer fun and on-the-go adventure!
This particular DVD also comes with a digital copy so you can put it on your portable device and go! It also comes with a “Mickey Mote”. Mickey Mote works with any Disney Preschool DVD that includes the Discovery Mode feature. It takes an initial programming (there is an easy set-up guide in each DVD) and then select Discovery Mode on the menu screen. Kids will be able to respond to questions about scenes they just watched by pressing the yellow star, green circle, orange triangle or blue square. To date there are 13 Disney titles that include Discovery Mode! I think this feature is great because it gets the preschoolers thinking about what they just viewed instead of being a vegetable on the couch.
