Who We Are

Grows Up is an online marketplace that showcases and sells unique, high-quality baby and kids goods – directly from the makers to you. We carefully select our boutiques from smaller production line manufacturers to give Moms the best variety of original clothing, toys, books, and goods for their children and themselves.

Grows Up was founded by team of loving moms and aunties. Their entire careers have been dedicated to Internet e-commerce and community building with companies like Netscape, Sega and Skype. Emma has been transforming into a girly girl the past few months. As of lately, I will find her in a different outfit several times a day… most of them dresses (Sundresses at that… in the middle of winter. “No Mommy, I’m not cold” as her lips turn blue.).

Her closet doesn’t have but a couple of dresses because, well… I’m a mom and I worry about her staying warm in a dress in our drafty house all winter.

I found this adorable denim dress made by Little Pea at Growsup.com. I knew it was Emma when I saw it.

When it arrived Emma was so eager to put it on she stripped down before I could get the tags off of it and unzip it.

I noticed a couple of things while putting it on her. The denim is a nice medium weight… which will help alleviate some of my fears of her getting chilled in the house. It is also stitched nicely and should hold up well to a 4 year old putting it on by herself (you know the drill… tug and pull until it’s on). Lastly, I love how it is like a blank canvas. She can wear this very casual or if we are going some place nice I can put a cute bow in her hair and add some jewelry and it’s a dressier dress.
